Characteristics and Applications

TheweldmetalofE309/309Lcontainsmore Cr Ni thanE 308/308L. It contains suitable quantity ferrite in microstructure, gives it an excellent resistance to hot cracking. it is designed for dissimilar meta welding ofjoining mild steel to stainless steel, hardening alloy steel and steel with poor weldability. Prop base metals are including stainless steel plate, steel strip, steel tube, heat transfer tube, pressure vess steel bar, casting and forging.

ব্যবহারের উপর নোট

1.Clean up the contaminations on the base metal, groove and pass to pass with stainless steel brush
2.Maintaining short arclength aspossible is highly recommended. While welding with weave method, mov range should be controlled within 2.5 times of the wire's dia.
3. Dry the electrodes at250~300℃ for 60 minutes before use. Take out consumables for haif day consumption and keep in the environment at 100~150℃ during welding process.
4. Use lower current to prevent from cracking and minimize base metal dilution.

It has excellent welding performance, beautiful appearance after vertical downward welding, fewer slags and high welding efficiency.	Suitable for butt welding, fillet welding and lap welding on thin plates, such as low carbon steel structures like flues of power stations, air ducts, transformer oil tanks, hulls, exterior panels of cars, etc.
Model: CB-J508 GB: E5018 AWS: E7018	It is a kind of carbon steel electrode with low hydrogen type coating. AC/DC. It has excellent welding performance, easy reignition, stable arc, beautiful appearance of weld.	Used for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel structures, such as 16Mn, etc.
