The working principle of submerged arc welding is to place the sub arc wire in the gap of the welded joint, and then generate an arc through current to melt the EM12k wire and form a molten pool. The em12k wire conducts electricity through this process and causes current to flow between the base material and the em12k wire, thereby heating and melting the metal. The intensity of the current and factors such as the diameter and material composition of the EM12k wire affect each other, determining the temperature and melting rate of the melt pool. Due to the excellent conductivity of EM12k wire, it can effectively improve welding efficiency and reduce welding time, which is one of its functions as an electrode.
